Grand Rapids Region RWA is pleased to announce
the finalists for the
2006 Enter Laughing contest.

We'd like to thank all those who entered. It was a tough competition with many close scores.

Congratulations to the finalists. Their manuscripts will now be forwarded to Linda McFall at Mira for final placement. All manuscripts will be returned following this portion of the competition.

The Big Black Moment can make or break a story. Want some feedback on yours? The Grand Rapids Region Romance Writers of America presents the Big Black Moment Contest. Send us your unjudged, 1 page set-up and your (up to) 10 page big black moment scene.

Deadline: Postmarked by June 7, 20008

Eligibility: Open to published and unpublished authors (however, scene
must come from an uncontracted book)

Final Round Judge: Linda McFall, Editor Harlequin MIRA

Top Prize: $20 dollars and certificate
